PINK SLIPS TEACHERS

How would you feel if when you showed up for work you got a pink slip?
:But they told you don’t worry it is for next year not this one.
Oh, and again don’t worry because you might not be the one canned.
So don’t worry, just come to work each day and forget about it .
We are just giving you these to let you know that we might ,
maybe ask you not to come back next year.
What would you do if this happened to you?
Can you imagine the kind of stress someone would be working under.
knowing they may be out of a job in nine months and they can not do anything about it.
They have to live with that stress and do the best job they can.

Well, your daughter or son’s teacher is working under this very kind of stress!
I just found out this today. And I was floored by it all. This is an impossible factor
to be working under for anyone. These are people who are in charge of our children
on a daily basis, People who guide, mould and teach out children.
On top of having this stress, teachers are bullied by the administration of their schools, by parents and by unruly kids.
I am not a teach or am I connected to any teaching or school system at this time.
I just found out about these pink slips that are passed to teachers on the fifteenth of ? of each year.
Not all teachers but thousands of teachers in the nation do get these pink slips. Why is this not talked about? Why are not parents outraged?

Is burn out caused by students or is it caused by the stress factor of not knowing whether one has a job at the end of the year. Can a teacher be a good teacher knowing this is hanging over their heads each and every day.? My question is why is not every parent who has a child in school not outraged and doing something about this? And if you don’t know about this you better look into it and find out for yourself.

Parents should be calling their congress men and women, they should be calling any all state and city officials and complaining about this and asking why is this happening. Parents, get mad, it is your child’s education that is being messed with also your child’s safety while in school is an issue here. Your teachers and your children are in danger because a teacher can not work properly working under the umbrella of a PINK SLIP!
