From a Distance

Love Unseen
our hearts begin to flutter,
with the lightness of a dove's feather,
our souls soar past the clouds.
as growth happens after the ground is plowed,
so doth this love stay true,
this love held by me and you.
as the first snow falls upon the ground,
we shall whisper these sounds,
my darling to thine heart I shall be,
no truer words shall be shared then these,
that mine heart belongs to thee.
T'is our warmth that melts the freeze.
as one breathes easy after a sneeze,
and the air freshens after a summer's breeze,
our love shall soar into the heavens.
waltzing to the music of Beethoven,
we shall melt in each others arms,
then be empowered by both our charms.
shall we but naught be from then to now,
to be separated by such a span,
as that shore line between sea and sand?
yet our love doth travel thus,
two hearts entwined as such.
shall one day our finger tips touch?

Such a pretty poem. It just glides along, graceful in both word and imagination. It makes me feel good to read this. Thank you so much.
